There are quite a few options where we can get a good all day breakfast in Dublin at any time of the day, and below are my pick of the best!

After all, few meals satisfy quite as much as a good breakfast, so why should we restrict ourselves to eating it at just one particular time of the day!

1. Lovin Spoon

Based on North Frederick Street, Lovin Spoon may be slightly out of the way but the extra few minutes to get there is worth it! Not only do they do an amazing all day full irish, but it comes with pancakes. Yes, PANCAKES WITH A FRY! How genius is that! The pudding is also excellent which always earns extra brownie points for me. It’s also probably one of the best value breakfasts in Dublin at €8.70 including tea/coffee.

2. Hatch and Sons

Hatch and Sons is one of those ultra cosy places where you could imagine going on a cold wintery day and never wanting to leave. They serve all of their breakfast options all day, which include granola and healthy things like that but if you’re looking for an all day breakfast I’m guessing that is not what you’re looking for! Try their version of a full irish breakfast which is double baked eggs with sausage, bacon and tomato. Paired with one of their amazing coffee’s this is guaranteed to satisfy any breakfast craving!

3. Fumbally

If you haven’t been to the Fumbally yet, that needs to change now. They do amazing breakfasts all day long like eggs and ham, scrambled eggs with melted cheese on brioche, and all sorts of yummy things involving avocado. A slightly healthy breakfast I guess, but still packed full of flavour.

4. Brother Hubbard

A slightly more exotic take on breakfast but it is breakfast nonetheless, Brother Hubbard are making divine creations from eggs all day long including their turkish eggs (pictured) which I have mentioned before here, omelettes and pancakes. This is certainly a must at any time of the day. One of my favourite places on Dublin’s Northside!

5. The Pepperpot Cafe

Pepperpot cafe located in the Powerscourt Centre is somewhere that you can spend hours chilling out and watching the world go by. What better way to do so than with a delicious serving of their creamy scrambled eggs with pretty much any topping you could want (bacon, smoked salmon, mushrooms, cheese…). The best thing about having breakfast later in the day is that it is perfectly acceptable to order a big slice of one of their delicious homemade cakes. Breakfast + cake= perfection!
