Trying to find somewhere to eat late midweek can be a bit of a pain. Especially if you suffer from a condition called “hanger” (angry+ hungry) like me! Below are a list of options for dining late midweek in Dublin city.
1. Elephant & Castle
Elephant and Castle located in Dublin’s Temple Bar is a perfect place to get a quick bite to eat after hours. Serving food until 11.30 midweek, they have everything you’d want after a long day from their famous chicken wings to fresh fish dishes.
2. Ukiyo
Ukiyo, located on Exchequer Street in Dublin’s city centre serves great japanese food and always has a lively buzz. With the kitchen open until 11pm midweek, they also have delicious cocktails and a karaoke bar should the mood take you!
3. Green 19
Located on Camden Street in Dublin’s South city, Green 19 serves great quality Irish food with a lively atmosphere. Treats such as braised venison and slow cooked pork belly are on the menu, with the kitchen open until 11pm.
4. Bobo’s
Bobo’s, on Dublin’s Dame Street (with another branch on Wexford Street), is a casual eatery serving gourmet burgers and snacks until 11.30pm. Their aim is to provide “an Irish take on fast food”, and they sure are doing this right!
5. Opium
Another great addition to Wexford Street, Opium serves up tasty Thai food until 10pm midweek (later from Thursday-Saturday). With a fabulous new late bar upstairs, this is a great place to spend a night in Dublin.
