Following a fully booked weekend at Taste of Dublin, Aldi and FoodCloud have announced that money raised from diner donations at #HookedByAldi was €4,330, which Aldi will match in full, bringing the total to €8,660.
Diners at the popular #HookedByAldi were asked to make a donation to FoodCloud, a social enterprise that makes a huge difference by connecting businesses with surplus food to local charities.For every €10 that diners donated at #HookedByAldi, local charities linked with FoodCloud will receive the equivalent of 40 meals for people in need which equates to a total of 34,640 meal donations.
