Sherry week, in partnership with Wines from Spain, kicks off on November 7th to explore the history, culture and creation of Sherry, one of Spain’s most important exports.

A number of events will take place to suit everyone from diehard sherry lovers to sherry newbies with dinners, tastings, and educational sessions.

Included in the line up is a Sherry Tasting in Whelehan’s with sherry expert Paddy Murphy on 9th November, an event that costs just €20 and is a great opportunity to be introduced to some of the finest examples of this distinctive and historic wine by a passionate expert.

Many of Dublin’s top restaurants will also be getting involved including Las Tapas de Lola, Ely wine bar and Suesey Street, where guests will receive a complimentary glass of fino, manzanilla, amontillado or oloroso to celebrate the week.

Sherry will also be making a special appearance at the Corkscrew Annual Winter Wine Fair on Sunday 13th of November where sherry expert Paddy Murphy will host an exclusive sherry table, offering tastings of all sherry styles with all proceeds going to charity.
