The fifth annual Cliff Townhouse Oyster Festival returns from September 5th to October 2nd, with 10,000 oysters forecasted to be consumed during the course of the festival.
Throughout the festival, attendees will enjoy an extended Oyster Menu featuring premium Irish oyster selections, a limited edition Cliff Oyster Cocktail Menu, exclusive wine pairings and glasses of Moet and Chandon.
The festival will put the spotlight on Ireland’s famous oysters from Waterford, Galway and Louth, each with its own distinctive flavour profile due to unique habitat and cultivation methods. The festival menu will also feature daily specials, designed around seasonal ingredients and the seafood landed each day by Cliff Townhouse’s suppliers. A limited edition Cliff Oyster Cocktail Menu has also been designed to compliment the various Festival dishes.

A World of Pearls; A glamorous evening exploring the drama and romance of the pearl, with acclaimed jeweller and gemmologist, Natasha Sherling.
Tuesday, September 13th, 6pm
Oysters: The Forgotten Health Food?; An informative evening exploring the nutritonal and health aspects of the oyster, with culinary nutritionist, Annette Sweeney.
Friday, September 17th, 1pm
Master the Oyster; From choosing and preparing, through simple accompaniments and complex dishes, join Cliff Townhouse Head Chef Sean Smith and the Harty’s Oysters team, for an exciting and irreverant oyster-laden cooking session!
