Cool Down in Dublin

With all this amazing weather we are having, what better way to spend a few hours than sitting in the park with something ice cold! Us Irish aren’t the best coping with this hot weather (or maybe I’m just speaking for myself here…!), so here’s some ways to cool down over this scorcher of a weekend we’re set to have!

1. Murphy’s Ice Cream

Murphy’s ice cream on Wicklow Street is a favourite of mine. Hand made ice cream from Dingle using only the best ingredients, they have a serious amount of delicious flavours available. There is something for everyone from blissful butterscotch to sea salt for those of you feeling a bit adventurous!

2. Early Grey Ice Tea @ Vice

There is literally nothing better on a hot day than a good glassful of ice tea with mountains of ice! For some reason (probably the weather), ice tea is hard to come by in Dublin but Vice are making up for it with this delicious variety!

3. Sip a Cocktail in Alfie’s

Alfie’s is a great spot for sitting outside and people watching on South William Street. What’s better after a long week than a frozen strawberry daiquiri or a mojito in the beaming sunshine! The cocktails here won’t break the bank either. Get there early to get a table in the sun!

4. Dr. Juice @ Staple Foods

These juices mean business. For those of you on the go or trying to be extra healthy, these Dr. Juice will make you feel good from the first sip and pack you full of everything you need for the weekend ahead!

5. Mooch Frozen Yoghurt

Mooch is the newest frozen yoghurt joint to hit Dublin, and I can vouch that it is delicious. Pick one up and head over to Trinity for some people watching on the green and watch everyone look at you eating it with envy!
