Salt Lick is a pop up restaurant that runs every Friday and Saturday in Hobarts, Ranelagh. The menu changes every month and they’ve just announced their new menu- Summer Month! I had their Japanese menu last month and was super impressed so expect great things from this kitchen! There’s a great laid back atmosphere, and at €25 for 2 courses, an absolute bargain. Not only this but it’s also BYOC (bring your own cocktail mixer), and the team will transform your spirits into something amazing! Don’t worry though, if you’re not a fan of the cocktails they also offer a BYOB policy and the guys over in Redmond’s off license down the road will be on hand to offer wine or beer pairings to complement the menu of the month. This is a great dining experience which offers something a little different for your weekend!
