It’s been quite a while since I’ve done my foodie things to do in Dublin but this week there are a couple of great events happening so I thought I had to share them with you all!

1. The Big Grill Festival

The Big Grill festival is returning to Dublin’s Herbert Park this weekend. Running from Thursday to Sunday the festival will showcase the best in BBQ food along with a range of craft beers and ciders. There will also be food demos, DJs, cook offs and a couple of eating challenges for the brave (I hear there’s a hot wing challenge!). The line up looks great with Asador, Kinara, Smokin Bones and more of Dublin’s best BBQ joints there to give you all a taste of their best meaty goodness.Tickets are available here. We are giving away 2 tickets to the festival on Sunday! To enter just comment below with your first name and #biggrillfest! **Competition now CLOSED and winner has been notified**Β

The dining area will be decorated by food stylist Jette Virdi with beautiful drinks and nibbles followed by a delicious 4 course seasonal and locally produced meal cooked by chef Johan Van der Merwe.
